Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Production Associate for a fast-paced retail store in San Diego. You will handle donation data entry, photography, stocking, picking, and customer service, with opportunities to assist on the sales floor and registers as needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and basic computer/typing skills. Knowledge of collectibles, books and media is a plus, and training will be provided to support multichannel operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• General computer and typing skills preferred.
• Product knowledge of Collectables, Books and Media preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses keywords in auction titles, takes clear photos, and includes condition details in auction descriptions.
• Accurately inventories, picks and prepares outgoing multichannel product per guidelines.
• Provides quality control for multichannel product and ensures all posted items follow policies, GISD’s procedures, and state/federal laws.
• Works with management to identify and resolve multichannel processing, listing, inventory and customer service issues.
• Attends trainings/meetings, runs multichannel reports, and shares relevant information during team huddles at management direction.
• Supports management in training fellow team members in multichannel processing and identifying donations best suited for online sale.
• Maintains multichannel equipment, reports supplies or other needs in a timely manner.
• Meets multichannel production requirements and assists on other tasks as assigned.
• Safeguards donations and company property; keeps workstations, sales floor, and donation areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Assists in different areas of the store providing excellent customer service to customers/donors.

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:Production position in a fast-paced retail store environment. Responsible for advanced processing of donations for online sale including, but not limited to: data entry, cell phone photography, stocking, picking, and customer service. May also be required to accept and process donation for the sales floor, assist on the register, and with other sales floor tasks.

• Assists in different areas of the store as assigned, providing excellent customer service to customers/donors. Refer to management any concerns or complaints.
