Ace Precision is seeking a driven Multi-Axis Laser Technician to join its aerospace manufacturing team. You will set up, operate, and monitor advanced laser systems across multiple axes to cut, drill, and process precision components used in mission-critical programs.

The role involves reading engineering drawings, adjusting parameters, and ensuring beam quality while maintaining strict AS9100 and NADCAP standards on a collaborative, safety-first shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience with laser systems (Fiber, YAG, CO2) or a CNC background.
• Comfort working with CNC-type interfaces, G-code, or automated motion platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering sketches, job routers, and process control sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor multi-axis laser machines for cutting, drilling, marking, or trimming sheet metal components and finished goods.
• Read and interpret engineering sketches, job routers, and process control sheets to ensure accurate part processing.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, CMM reports, and visual inspection.
• Adjust machine parameters, align optics, load programs, and verify proper beam quality.
• Maintain production records and follow aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP).
