Job summary

IKEA is seeking a Food Operations Manager to lead multi-unit, high-volume food service operations in the Maryland store. You will ensure consistent food quality, cost controls, and brand standards while driving commercial goals and customer satisfaction.

Lead the IKEA Food Production team, manage inventory, purchasing, and waste, and maintain equipment and safety compliance across Restaurant and Bistro areas. Open availability is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience leading multi-unit high-volume food service operations.
• Ability to deliver strong business results through people.
• Experience in a customer facing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of HACCP plans and food quality and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IKEA Food quality and brand standards across all store food areas.
• Support implementation of IKEA Food Concept and develop action plans to meet commercial goals.
• Oversee Food Production team including goods flow, inventory, purchasing, ordering and waste management.
• Establish routines for equipment maintenance in Restaurant and Bistro areas.
• Ensure compliance with IKEA Quality and Food Safety requirements and local laws.
