Job summary

Jobtailor in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support 20-25 full-serve restaurant locations. The role focuses on maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, processing work orders, and coordinating contractors to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications include 2+ years repairing food service equipment, 1–3 years in an equipment repair role within a multi-unit facility, EPA Type I & II certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience repairing food service equipment such as high-speed ovens, food warmers, beverage units and tap systems, roller grills, steam tables, hot/cold holding units and other equipment.
• 1-3 years of experience working in a multi-unit facility department in an equipment repair capacity.
• 1-3 years of experience and knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical system repair.
• Type I and II EPA Certification is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems across multiple restaurant locations.
• Process work orders, track repairs, and maintain records in Freshdesk.
• Communicate with restaurant teams via phone and email.
• Schedule and oversee contractors, ensuring safety and quality of work.
• Perform preventive maintenance and daily site inspections.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies and create purchase orders as needed.
