Position Overview: The Multi-Unit General Manager is a dynamic and high-performing leader who operates as the primary General Manager at one designated "home store" while also supporting operations, training, and leadership development across 2–3 additional locations. This role serves as a key partner to Market Leaders and the corporate team in driving brand consistency, building strong teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations at multiple sites.

General Manager Key Responsibilities

Primary Store Leadership (Home Store)

  • Lead the daily operations of your designated store, ensuring excellence in food quality, guest service, and team culture.
  • Hire, train, and develop high-performing team members and shift leaders.
  • Own the P&L: manage labor, food costs, and scheduling to meet performance targets.
  • Foster a strong guest experience through on-the-floor leadership and service recovery.

Multi-Unit Coaching Support & Leadership

  • Act as a regional support partner for 2–3 additional locations; visit regularly to provide in-person coaching, operational backup, and team support.
  • Serve as a training resource for new GMs, Shift Leads, or team members.
  • Identify talent within supported stores and contribute to leadership pipeline development.
  • Provide short-term coverage during GM transitions or performance gaps.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure consistent execution of systems, procedures, and brand standards across all supported stores.
  • Champion compliance with food safety, labor laws, health regulations, and internal policies.
  • Help implement local marketing or brand initiatives across supported stores.

People Development & Culture

  • Mentor GMs and Shift Leads at supported locations; coach for performance and cultural alignment.
  • Collaborate with Market Leaders and Training team to strengthen onboarding and upskilling systems.
  • Support team engagement and culture-building through recognition and consistent communication.

Compliance & Standards

  • Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with local laws and company policies
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal procedures, and operational guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility at all times

Requirements

Job Requirements:

Required Experience & Skills

  • 3–5 years of restaurant leadership experience (fast-casual or QSR preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and manage restaurant financials
  • Comfortable using technology and systems (POS, scheduling, inventory platforms)
  • ServSafe certified or willing to obtain within 30 days
  • Flexible schedule with full-time availability; able to work 50 hours/week
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a fast-paced environment
