Candidates should be based near a major airport in the Louisville, KY; St Louis, MO; Memphis, TN; or Nashville, TN area, and travel up to 75% for market visits, training, and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of multi-unit leadership experience in QSR, retail, or franchised environments.
• Strong financial acumen with deep understanding of P&L drivers and ROI-based decision making.
• Proven ability to influence, challenge, and lead without direct authority.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% for market visits and training.

Responsibilities

• Own performance outcomes across the assigned market, including sales growth, profitability, and operational standards.
• Ensure franchisee actions align with enterprise priorities, not just individual business preferences.
• Identify systemic risks and opportunities early and take decisive action to protect and grow the business.
• Partner cross-functionally to remove barriers and accelerate results across the system.
• Drive fact-based conversations that challenge assumptions and reset expectations where needed.
• Influence decision-making without authority; hold franchisees accountable to commitments and standards.
• Lead structured annual and quarterly business planning with clear linkage to enterprise goals.
• Translate insights into focused, executable plans with defined milestones and outcomes.
• Diagnose performance using P&L, balance sheets, sales trends, and operational data to identify root causes.
• Drive actions that improve margins, cash flow, and return on invested capital.
• Ensure brand standards and operating requirements are consistently executed.
• Drive enterprise initiatives with high-level execution and reduced variability.
• Take decisive action on non-compliance and sustained underperformance to protect the brand.
