Job summary

Sanctuary is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Plumber to join our team in Hull for responsive repairs across Hull and parts of Lincolnshire. The role covers plumbing with optional carpentry, plaster patching and tiling. Mostly lone working with a company van and power tools, and an on-call rota for emergencies.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, salary £35,579–£37,452 per year, with progression after 12 months subject to performance.

Qualifications

• Qualified to or currently undertaking NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing; Level 3 preferred; Unvented - G3 Certificate and WRAS certificates required.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation.
• Additional skills in Joinery and Wet Trades (plastering, tiling).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and plan ahead.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Attending occupied properties to carry out repairs, fault fixing and maintenance duties.
• Resolving problems or initiating resolutions and keeping customers informed.
• Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained and stock levels are managed.
• Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works to the customer.
• Responding to complaints and breakdowns to meet customer expectations.
• Being on the out-of-hours callout rota for emergencies (1 in 12 weeks).
