Job summary

State of Missouri is seeking an entry level Maintenance and Grounds Technician to support the Office of Administration, Facilities Management, Design, and Construction. You will perform a variety of grounds maintenance and trades tasks, including light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC assistance, and vehicle/equipment upkeep.

Role involves heavy lifting, outdoor work in varying weather, and responding to emergency calls.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and light trades knowledge.
• Ability to perform manual labor including heavy lifting.
• Good communication and teamwork with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, grounds, and trades work on state buildings, facilities vehicles, and equipment.
• Maintain grounds, patch and paint, snow removal, and debris disposal.
• Execute work orders accurately and operate under general supervision.
• Provide after-hours coverage and respond to emergencies as needed.
