Job summary

Prairie Knights in Fort Yates, ND is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to service HVAC, mechanical, electrical and related systems, assist event-center setup, and perform repairs. The role emphasizes safety and compliance across facilities.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years in the trades, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a Tribal Non-Gaming license. Training in at least one trade is preferred; strong communication and independent work ethic are

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
Training certificate in at least one of the trades preferred.
Must be able to communicate in the primary language used in the workplace.
Minimum of 2 years working in the trades field preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, electronic controls, plumbing, or related systems.
Assist in setup and tear down of Pavilion event center functions.
Report technical or engineering problems to Supervisor or Manager.
Maintain Title 31 Compliance accurately.
Observe safety rules and regulations in all tasks.
