Qualifications
Education/Training

BSN required; MSN, DNP, or additional graduate degree in business or health-related field preferred.

Licensure/Certification
  • Current RN license in Florida or Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Additional certifications based on patient population may be required.
Experience

Minimum of 2 years as an RN in an acute/advanced care setting and 1 year of leadership experience. Experience in Progressive Care & Telemetry preferred.

Responsibilities

Includes evaluating the environment, leading patient care delivery, promoting safety, managing budgets, developing staff, implementing quality improvements, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Other functions include risk management, process improvement, and age-specific patient care.
