Readystate Asset Management in Chicago offers an Investment Analyst internship that provides a practical, multi-strategy view of investing. You will rotate through strategies, learning from seasoned professionals and contributing to real investment ideas.

As an intern, you will generate hypotheses, perform both fundamental and quantitative analyses, and develop valuation views while collaborating with the investment team. The program includes mentorship and structured learning sessions.

Qualifications

• A passion for investing and curiosity about financial markets.
• Aptitude to perform fundamental analysis and identify key drivers of value.
• Strong communications skills and the ability to organize and condense unstructured information into a coherent investment thesis.
• Strong analytical skills, the ability to think differently and take initiative.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Python, R and/or other data analytic tools.

Responsibilities

• Fundamental due diligence on existing and potential investments, including financial modeling and quantitative assessments of investments.
• Quantitative research/data analysis using market and non-traditional data.
• Idea generation and screening for investment opportunities using fundamental or quantitative techniques.
• Execution of ad hoc projects in collaboration with other team members.
