Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is hiring for a Food Services role on a full-time basis at the Burnet Campus. The position involves customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff, plus operating a POS system and processing various payments.

Shifts span 8.5 hours between 5a and 4:30p, with alternating weekends and holidays. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and offers opportunities to support coffee service, deli, and other food service areas while maintaining cleanliness

Qualifications

Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and employees.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and accurately process cash, credit card, and mobile transactions.
Support all retail café operations as assigned.
Stock and replenish condiments, beverages, snacks, supplies, and retail merchandise.
Assist with coffee service, salad bar, deli, pizza, Starbucks, mobile ordering, and other food service areas.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, dining spaces, equipment, and workstations.
Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Support peak meal periods by assisting in various retail stations as operational needs require.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
