Job summary

Sonic Drive-In is seeking a restaurant Cook to oversee Food Production, Grill, Fryer stations and related tasks. You will prepare and cook orders, dress items to order, and ensure quality and consistency while maintaining cleanliness and safety.

The role supports a team-driven environment with flexible hours and dynamic daily duties. Ideal candidates will be able to work irregular hours, communicate effectively, and follow directions while upholding Sonic's appearance and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays
• Willingness to cross-train on all stations (Food Production, Grill, Fryer)
• Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills
• Ability to follow directions
• Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards
• General knowledge of restaurant or retail operations preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food orders to meet quality standards
• Perform food preparation and portioning
• Cook on the grill and operate the fry station
• Dress items to order and package menu items
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation across work areas
