Job summary

Allegion Canada Inc. in Indianapolis is seeking an Assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble components across multiple stations for Von Duprin security products, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include rotating through stations, communicating for speed and accuracy, and verifying connections to specifications. A High School Diploma or GED and some manufacturing and assembly experience are required; training for power and hand tools is provided where

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 months manufacturing experience required; six months assembly experience preferred.
• Basic math and communication skills required.
• Experience performing quality inspections/Total Quality Checks.
• Experience with power and hand tools preferred; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through multiple stations on a shift to maintain alertness and productivity.
• Communicate effectively with other stations to ensure speed and accuracy on the assembly line.
• Assemble components accurately and to specifications.
• Verify connections for quality control and record discrepancies in the log.
• Follow safety guidelines on the manufacturing floor and in assembly stations.
