Job summary

Summit School Services is seeking a Title & Registration Specialist to own multi-state titling, lien management, and fleet registration compliance. You will work with the VP of Asset Management and coordinate with DMVs, lenders, and internal teams to keep records current and accurate.

The role requires 3+ years in title/registration administration, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented approach. Office-based with occasional regional travel and opportunities to improve workflows and vendor

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial vehicle title and registration administration in a multi-state fleet.
• Knowledge of DMV titling, lien perfection/release, and IRP/registration compliance.
• Strong organizational skills to manage high volumes and drive cases to closure.
• Proficiency in Excel and maintaining tracking systems for compliance records.
• Excellent written communication with DMVs, lienholders, and stakeholders.
• High attention to detail within regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Titling & Lien Management: manage full title and registration lifecycle for multi-state fleet.
• Backlog Resolution: clear backlog of open title and lien issues by priority and close each case.
• Registration Compliance: maintain current registrations and permits; monitor renewal calendars.
• Agency & Lender Relationships: maintain relationships with DMVs, lienholders, and financing partners.
• Documentation & Tracking: log all records in a central system with clear status and aging metrics.
• Process Improvement: design repeatable workflows to prevent backlog.
• M&A & Fleet Transition Support: provide status expertise during acquisitions and dispositions.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: align titling with purchases, sales, and financing terms.
• Vendor Oversight: manage outsourced vendor SLAs and costs.
