Job summary

i9 Sports is seeking a Sports Coordinator in Pensacola to enhance the youth sports experience. You will build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while delivering instructional aspects, observing and assisting coaches, and participating hands-on with practices and games across age groups.

Ideal candidate has strong communication, coaching experience with 3-6 year olds, can work weekends/evenings, and can pass background check.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills across players, parents, and coaches.
• Sport-specific coaching experience and knowledge.
• Experience working with youth ages 3–6 preferred.
• Motivated self-starter who can work independently.
• Able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and some evenings for the season (7 weeks).

Job Summary

The Sports Coordinator is responsible for enhancing the i9 Sports Experience for players and coaches. The Sports Coordinator will need to build relationships with players, parents, and coaches while ensuring that the instructional aspects of the i9 Sports Experience are delivered. Observing, assessing, and assisting our coaches is paramount. The position entails hands‑on involvement with practices and games among all age groups and skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts including sportsmanship values
• Supervise the overall operation of the designated program on game day
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience working with youth ages 3‑6 years old preferred
• Highly motivated self‑starter; can work independently and solve problems
• Awareness and ability to take charge of any situation to ensure the safety of players
