Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a numbers coach to support multiple middle and high school sports in the Wenatchee area. The role involves preparing student athletes with fundamental skills and strategies while promoting citizenship, pride, and sportsmanship.

Applicants should indicate the sports of interest. Open positions may be filled at Foothills, Pioneer, Orchard Middle Schools, or Wenatchee High School depending on need.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience at middle/high school level preferred.
• Must possess a current First Aid Card/CPR Card or complete a district approved course equivalent to Red Cross First Aid training.
• Washington State Patrol Criminal History Information Form is on file in Athletic Office.
• High school graduate and at least 21 years of age.
• Annual attendance at bloodborne pathogens training.
• Annual attendance at a WIAA rules clinic for the sport coached.
• Certificated personnel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing student athletes for meaningful athletic competition through instruction in skills, strategies, and training.
• Provide instruction that fosters citizenship, pride, sportsmanship, self-discipline, and self-confidence.
• Indicate in application which sports you are interested in coaching; positions may be at Foothills, Pioneer, Orchard Middle Schools or Wenatchee High School depending on need.
