Nova Medical Services is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder to join our growing team in Miami. The ideal candidate will handle multi-specialty coding, review clinical documentation, and assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes with accuracy to ensure proper reimbursement and compliance.

You will collaborate with physicians and staff, maintain productivity, and stay current with coding guidelines, CMS, and payer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience coding for multiple specialties.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding systems.
• Understanding CMS guidelines and payer requirements.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet productivity and accuracy standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical coding for multiple specialties and assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes.
• Review records and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Ensure CMS, HIPAA, and payer guidelines compliance.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to obtain documentation.
• Abstract and enter data into billing systems and resolve denials.
• Participate in coding audits and quality reviews.
• Stay updated on coding changes and regulations.
