Job summary

Utica Park Clinic is seeking a day shift, full-time Medical Assistant to join a multi-specialty team in Oklahoma. The role provides routine patient care, administrative support, and collaboration with physicians and PAs to ensure efficient clinic operations.

The Medical Assistant will enter patient data into EMR, take vital signs, prepare exam rooms, maintain supplies, and coordinate referrals and lab orders as needed. BLS is required within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic EMR and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, assist with visits, and take vitals.
• Enter, maintain, and report medical history and claims in EMR.
• Prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, ensure privacy and cleanliness.
• Maintain inventory and stock supplies for all exam rooms.
• Coordinate referrals and insurance authorizations, and route lab/x-ray orders as needed.
• Provide clinic support to care team and physicians.
