Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Monroe, OH. This on-site role maintains buildings and equipment across distribution operations, performing preventive and corrective work on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and related systems.

You will document maintenance in CMMS, monitor spare parts, and support remodeling or relocation tasks while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Basic plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, welding, mechanical and electrical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and manuals.
• Skilled with hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and high school education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems and dock doors and levelers.
• Repair minor electrical, HVAC, plumbing and dock doors and levelers.
• Assist monitoring equipment process parameters and enter data into CMMS.
• Monitor inventory of spare parts and tools.
• Operate maintenance diagnostics equipment and meters.
• Diagnose failures, determine parts needed, and repair to resume operation.
• Communicate with peers and supervisors; maintain cleanliness of equipment and facility.
