Asahi Kasei Plastics North America, Inc. is seeking a Multi- Skilled Production Technician to work on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift premium.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 2 years' experience in industrial environment preferred.
• Must be forklift certified (company certifies on-the-job).

• Operate site equipment (plant, warehouse, analytical laboratory).
• Perform computer functions in plant, office, lab equipment.
• Perform analytical testing of raw material and/or finished product.
• Create and follow procedures, work instructions, EH&S and Quality standards.

Job Tasks

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Licensures, and Certifications)

High School Diploma or G.E.D. post-secondary education required 2 years' experience in industrial environment preferred Must be able to be forklift certified (company certifies on-the-job).

Work Environment / Physical Demands / Travel

Work in 24/7 continuous operations, on 12- hour rotating shift schedule. Able to work in a non-climate controlled environment Standing and walking continuously Climbing on and off a forklift frequently Climbing and descending stairs frequently Lifts/carries 20 - 50 Lbs. frequently Lifts/Carries 50 - 100 Lbs. occasionally with assistance Reaches above frequently, pushes/pulls occasionally Fine Manipulation occasionally
