The Department of Physical Plant at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Multi-Skilled Painter to join their team:

Summary:
  • Patching, painting, and wall coverings throughout the hospital. When needed, perform repairs and installation of basic electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC, and lock repairs; carpentry repairs.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for finishing (e.g., spackling, puttying, caulking, sanding). Apply paint and other finishes using brushes or rollers. Install wall coverings for new installations and repairs.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 4+ years of full-time painting experience with a bona fide painting contractor or employer (Required)
  • Technical training in finishing methods (Required)
  • Experience in healthcare facilities (Preferred)
