We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Painter for the Department of Physical Plant at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. This role involves:

  1. Patching, painting, and wall coverings throughout the hospital.
  2. Performing repairs and installations of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lock, and carpentry systems as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Preparing surfaces through spackling, puttying, caulking, sanding, etc.
  • Applying paint and finishes such as stains, varnish, shellac, etc.
  • Installing and repairing wall coverings.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 4 years of full-time painting experience with a reputable contractor or employer.
  • Technical training in finishing methods.
  • Healthcare facility experience preferred.
