Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator for an on-site, one-year W2 contract in Kenedy, TX. The role operates on a 77 rotation schedule and involves direct responsibility for well operations, ESPs, and related equipment.

The candidate will perform maintenance, monitoring, and data collection, while coordinating with engineering and support teams to maximize production and ensure safe, efficient plant operations.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of oilfield operations experience.
• Technical knowledge of wells, ESPs, and rotating equipment.
• Ability to follow procedures and write work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee well operations including ESPs, three-phase separators, gas compression.
• Perform maintenance, readings, rounds, and issuing work permits.
• Optimize production by monitoring equipment and adjusting chemical pump rates.
• Collaborate with engineering and support groups for data gathering.
• Record test data and conduct fluid level checks with echo meter.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for well operations, gas lifted wells, ESP's, three phase separation, gas compression, control board operation, pipeline operation, minor maintenance of valve, pumps and rotating equipment and assisting the other operators and craft personnel in their duties.
• Prepares for and performs maintenance, taking readings, doing rounds, issuing work permits, following procedures, initiating work requests, writing procedures, and interfacing with support groups.
• Proactively monitors well and equipment performance, take appropriate action to maximize production.
• Works with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates based on production data (corrosion, paraffin, soap injection, etc.
• Interfaces with Engineering for data gathering requests.
• Tracks test compression data.
• Conducts fluid levels with echo meter.

Required And Preferred Skills And Experience

• Experienced level, typically 5-7 years of experience.
• Provides more technical/functional support than administrative support.
• Demonstrates a thorough working knowledge of technology, applications, terminology, and procedures required of job function.
• Performs varied and more complex tasks.
• Makes decisions within broad parameters.
