Job summary

Danos is seeking a Multiskilled Operator to safely operate, monitor, and maintain wells and production equipment. You will work with gas-lifted wells, ESPs, three-phase separation, gas compression, control boards, pipelines, valves, pumps, and rotating equipment to maximize production.

You will perform rounds, take readings, adjust operations, and coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimize performance while adhering to procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant oil and gas production operations experience.
• Experience with gas-lifted wells and ESP systems.
• Knowledge of three-phase separation and gas compression.
• Experience with control board and pipeline operations.
• Knowledge of valves, pumps and rotating equipment.
• Experience conducting fluid-level measurements with an echo meter.
• Thorough working knowledge of production operations, equipment, terminology, applications, and procedures.
• Ability to perform varied and complex operational tasks.
• Ability to make sound decisions within established operational parameters.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with Engineering, maintenance, and field operations teams.

• Conduct fluid-level measurements using an echo meter.
• Assist other operators, maintenance teams, and craft personnel as needed.

Overview

The Multi-Skilled Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating, monitoring, and maintaining wells and production equipment. This role works with gas-lifted wells, ESPs, three-phase separation, gas compression, control boards, pipelines, valves, pumps, and rotating equipment. The operator proactively monitors equipment performance and makes adjustments to maximize production while supporting maintenance, engineering, and other field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor gas-lifted wells, ESPs, three-phase separation equipment, gas compression systems, control boards, and pipelines.

• Perform routine rounds, take equipment readings, and monitor well and equipment performance.

• Take appropriate action to optimize production and address operational issues.

• Prepare equipment for maintenance and perform minor maintenance on valves, pumps, and rotating equipment.

• Issue work permits and follow established operating and safety procedures.

• Initiate work requests and assist with writing and updating procedures.

• Work with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates based on production data, including corrosion, paraffin, and soap injection.

• Coordinate with Engineering on data-gathering requests.

• Track and document test compression data.

• Conduct fluid-level measurements using an echo meter.

• Assist other operators, maintenance teams, and craft personnel as needed.
