Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for our Verona, VA facility. The role emphasizes reading and interpreting drawings, following schematics, and performing installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on machinery and equipment.

You will work with diverse materials and keep precise maintenance records. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, certification or equivalent experience in maintenance, and demonstrated ability to perform tests and handle

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Maintenance Mechanic or equivalent education and experience required.
• Entry level skills; written and/or oral testing required.
• Advanced training, education, and testing for higher pay grades; 4 years’ experience and 2 years of high voltage.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, understand, and work from drawings, sketches, schematics, CMM work requests, and other written, electronic, or verbal instruction
• Work with a variety of raw and synthetic materials
• Operate various tools and equipment to move, manipulate, install, maintain, diagnose, dismantle, and repair machinery, equipment, and facilities
• Maintain required records
