MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN, NEVADA, MO

Join us at 3M as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician at our Nevada, MO site.

Job Description

In this role, you will collaborate with innovative teams around the world, contributing to our global operations. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment, reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing preventive maintenance, and executing minor installations and modifications in accordance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, repair, and adjust AC/DC motors, drive systems, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems, including PLCs.
• Perform installation and modification of control and power wiring up to 480 volts, ensuring compliance with NEC and OSHA standards.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, including lubrication and equipment inspection.
• Utilize metal joining techniques and operate various shop and fabrication tools.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of industrial manufacturing experience or a technical degree in related fields such as Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, Robotics & Automation.

Preferred:

• Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance and Automation.
• Experience working in fast-paced, safety-conscious environments, with knowledge of PLCs and automated manufacturing equipment.

Additional Details

Location: Nevada, MO. No travel required. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
