Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training in maintenance is a plus.
• Experience with maintenance systems or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and repair production equipment and facility systems.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on machines.
• Carry out simple machinist duties and use varied tools.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts and test repairs.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform service tasks.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas in compliance with regulations.
• Detect faulty operations and report issues to supervision.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities.
• Handle basic plumbing and carpentry tasks when required.
• Utilize hand and power tools, meters and material handling equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment.
• Complete tasks assigned by supervisor or maintenance manager.
