Prestige Recruitment Specialists is assisting with a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer vacancy at LN6, Lincoln. This hands-on role supports maintenance programmes to minimise downtime and maximise production efficiency on a busy manufacturing site.

You’ll perform planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance, contribute to continuous improvement projects, and collaborate with production teams to hit site KPIs.

• Apprentice-trained or relevant engineering qualifications.
• Electrical and mechanical experience (multi-skilled).

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, predictive, and condition-based maintenance across all production equipment.
• Provide a rapid and effective response to production breakdowns.
• Support business objectives and achieve site KPIs.
• Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency.
• Assist with engineering projects, installations, and improvement activities.
• Ensure effective use of engineering stores and control of costs.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, and safety.
• Accurately record maintenance activities, downtime, and incidents.
• Support the management of contractors on site.
• Assist in maintaining site services and technical documentation.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a hands-on role where you’ll support the delivery of an effective maintenance programme, ensuring production equipment operates efficiently and downtime is minimised.

You’ll play a key role in planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance, while also contributing to continuous improvement projects and supporting site-wide engineering initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, predictive, and condition-based maintenance across all production equipment
• Provide a rapid and effective response to production breakdowns
• Support business objectives and achieve site KPIs
