Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our Mesquite, Texas plant. You’ll perform a hybrid role combining electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and inventory duties to keep pallet production running smoothly.

The position offers an hourly wage of $35.00, first shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. You’ll inspect, repair, and troubleshoot plant equipment, respond urgently to maintenance requests, and learn new equipment quickly.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience handling production automation equipment.
• Experience with basic plumbing, basic electrical wiring, and basic carpentry.
• Low voltage electrical experience required.
• Attention to detail to ensure safe, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Inspect wiring, make repairs, and troubleshoot all plant equipment as necessary.
• Respond urgently to all maintenance needs to ensure plant operations run smoothly.
• Completely learn existing and new equipment within the plant.
• Other projects as necessary.
