Position: Multi-skilled Carpenter

Location: Pearland, TX

Schedule: FT or PT, M-F, 8-5, Occasional Saturdays

Pay: $28/hr, $35 trip allowance per paid job

Ace Handyman Services - Pearland is seeking experienced Carpenters with skills in multiple trades. We are one of Houston's top-rated handyman, repair, and remodeling companies, providing quality craftsmanship for all repair, maintenance, and remodeling projects, both large and small.

If you are looking for a W2 position that offers the flexibility of an independent job, we schedule the jobs for you, and you provide the quality craftsmanship and customer service our clients expect. You will work from home on a full-time or part-time basis, using your own truck or van to travel to job sites in Houston.

Your potential wage can range from $30 per hour, along with benefits and performance bonuses. If this sounds like the position for you and you meet our qualifications, we want to hear from you!

Job Requirements:

1. Strong work ethic, professional appearance and demeanor
2. Good knowledge of trades including Carpentry, Tiling, Painting, Drywalling, minor Plumbing, and Electrical
3. Excellent customer service skills and communication abilities
4. Successful prior track record as a Carpenter/Craftsman; estimation skills and prior home inspection experience preferred
5. Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing tasks
6. Own a standard set of tools for all trades
7. Own truck or van
8. Current and valid driver’s license
9. Residence within 15 miles of Pearland
10. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
11. Strong documentation and invoicing skills
12. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
