Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Multi Site Security Officer for Vernon Hills, IL. This full-time role requires being stationed at multiple site locations and being available any day with at least two shifts.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols, incident response, and reporting safety issues, with comprehensive training and benefits provided by Securitas. OSHA and client guidelines observed at all times.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED or ability to complete GED within 6 months.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification provided by employer.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.
