Job summary

Join Securitas USA as a Multi Site Security Officer in the Portland metro area. The role involves patrolling, monitoring systems, access control, and responding to emergencies to protect people, property, and assets. Two shifts per day and assignments across multiple site locations are required.

Salary ranges from $22.00 to $23.00 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, life and disability insurance, and weekly pay. No prior experience is necessary to apply today.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying identification, checking credentials, and managing visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Enforce security protocols, company rules, and regulations for premises, personnel, and visitors.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and security equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious activities, behavior, and security breaches.
