Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is hiring a Multi Site Security Officer in Michigan. The role involves monitoring client sites, patrolling premises, and ensuring safety and security. Weekend and holiday availability is required; a good driving record and basic computer skills are expected.

Training is provided, no prior experience is necessary. Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour with competitive benefits including medical, dental, life insurance, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

No experience necessary! If you have retail, food service or hospitality industry background you are a great fit for this role; if not, we will provide you with the training and everything you need for a great introduction to a career in the security industry.

They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
