Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a part-time Multi-Site Security Officer in Salt Lake City, UT. The role focuses on access control, patrols, and ensuring safety across client sites.

The position requires 18+ years old, a HS diploma or GED, and strong customer service with the ability to work independently. Training is provided; compelling benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid UT State Driver's License required.
• Must be able to work 2 out of 3 shifts Day / Swing, Swing / Grave, or Day / Grave.
• Open availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Multi-Site Security Officer - Part Time

Primary Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Wage: $20.50/HR

The Multi-Site Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
