Responsibilities include patrols, surveillance monitoring, incident response, and accurate log reporting. Candidates should possess Maryland security certification, reliable transportation, and strong judgment under pressure.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland security guard certification, or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
• Reliable personal transportation to travel between assigned locations.
• Availability to work assigned shifts and provide coverage as needs arise.
• Strong awareness and attention to detail; ability to stay composed and report professionally under pressure.
• Clear communication and accurate report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage at assigned locations for call-outs, absences, vacations, and open shifts.
• Complete routine interior and exterior patrols, checking assigned areas and access points.
• Observe surroundings for suspicious activity, safety hazards, property damage, or policy violations.
• Monitor available surveillance equipment and report concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Respond promptly to incidents and follow established emergency procedures.
• Help maintain a safe, secure environment through a visible presence and consistent enforcement of site rules.
• Prepare accurate, factual digital activity logs and incident reports.
• Communicate important updates to supervisors and designated property representatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
