Mills Pond Rehab seeks an Area Respiratory Operations Technician to support the Regional Director of Respiratory Services across multiple facilities. You will oversee respiratory rehabilitation programs, monitor performance, and ensure quality care with a focus on compliance and clinical standards.

The role involves operational, clinical, and educational duties, including staff recruitment and equipment management, with a mix of onsite facility work and virtual coordination.

Qualifications

• Strong operational and organizational skills with proficiency in EHR systems and computer applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to travel regularly to assigned facilities within the region.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for audits, reporting, and compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Track respiratory programs daily using multiple EHR and computer systems.
• Manage scheduling of respiratory therapy treatments across facilities.
• Conduct daily reviews of new patients, including key indicators and data.
• Complete audits, evaluations, and care plan compliance checks.
• Maintain lists for oxygen and respiratory devices across facilities.
• Perform weekly audits of respiratory equipment.
• Communicate needs and referrals to nursing and therapy staff.
• Educate staff on proper use and maintenance of respiratory equipment.
• Assist with program implementation and updates to ensure clinical standards.
