Job summary
Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician in Grand Rapids, MI. The successful candidate will troubleshoot issues, perform general repairs, and decide when to involve outside contractors, on a full-time schedule.
The position requires hands-on maintenance experience across residential and commercial properties, with travel to Lansing and multiple Grand Rapids-area sites. Hours are 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, at $25/hour.
Qualifications
- Prior property or building maintenance experience is required.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform general repairs on residential and commercial properties.
- Comfortable traveling between properties in the Grand Rapids area and Lansing.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and complete general property repairs.
- Drywall repair, painting, and general building maintenance.
- Basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Appliance troubleshooting and repair.
- Basic HVAC troubleshooting.
- Complete service requests at residential and commercial properties.
- Communicate with property management and outside contractors regarding maintenance issues.
- Help identify the cause of an issue before a contractor is brought onsite.
- Travel between properties in the Grand Rapids area and Lansing as needed.
