Job summary

AHMG Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiology in Orlando, FL seeks an experienced sonographer to perform echocardiograms per accredited protocols. You will assist in multiple practices as needed, maintain equipment, and document patient histories while ensuring detailed imaging and patient safety.

A $5k sign-on bonus is offered and schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. The role requires RDCS/RDCS-PE/RDCS-AE-type credentials, BLS, and a strong command of English.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required.
• Registered sonography credentials and CAEHEP accreditation preferred.
• Experience in pediatric echocardiography and cardiac ultrasound knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Operate echocardiography equipment and obtain high-quality images.
• Escort patients through exam process and explain procedures.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper cleaning of probes.
• Acquire and document patient history, vitals and test data.
• Provide instructions to patients to enhance cooperation and results.
• Assist with accreditation processes and physician reviews.
