Job summary

Securitas is hiring a Multi Site Security Officer for Eugene, OR. The role covers multiple site locations with the need to be available any day and work at least two shifts. Wage is $19.50 per hour, with full benefits and ongoing training opportunities.

Responsibilities include access control, patrols, de-escalation, and reporting safety concerns. This position offers daily teamwork and growth within a supportive security organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license or equivalent and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required, or ability to complete within 6 months.
• Standard computer/tech skills and ability to interact with diverse people.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation at client sites.
• Perform access control at security entrances/exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside client premises in varied weather.
• Interact with client employees and guests regularly.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incidents and participate in investigations.
• Set up barriers/signage and provide directions as needed.
• Carry out similar duties for assigned site.

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client's premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Set up barriers / signage and provide direction or information to others.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and clear driving record required.
• High school diploma or GED required, OR ability to complete GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
