The State of Mississippi, through the Mississippi Department of Corrections, is seeking a Network Infrastructure Specialist II to support and maintain telecommunications and network infrastructure across MDOC locations, including Central Office, Central Records, and regional facilities. This role involves AVAYA phone systems, wiring, WAN/LAN support, and documentation to ensure reliable network operations.

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5+ years IT experience with emphasis in network operations and administration.
• Detail-oriented, able to manage complex network systems across multiple locations, with strong technical and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Support AVAYA phone systems at Central Records.
• Install and maintain phones and cabling at Region II and CWC.
• Manage network wiring closets and provide WAN/LAN support.
• Troubleshoot network issues and assist with hardware installation and upgrades.
• Respond to service requests and maintain accurate system documentation.
