Job summary

AllCare Georgia is seeking a motivated Multi-Site Medical Assistant Coordinator to support two or more locations. You will supervise Medical Assistants, manage patient intake and EHR workflows, and assist providers with exams and procedures in a fast-paced primary/immediate care setting.

In this role you will drive new workflows, coordinate schedules, and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA standards while mentoring staff and improving patient care across sites.

Qualifications

• Two years of medical assistant experience including clinical intake, venipuncture, specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and standard clinical technology.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and CLIA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations at two sites and provide day-to-day directions to Medical Assistants.
• Perform patient intake, document histories, update EHR, and maintain confidential records.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, medications, injections, venipuncture, and specimen collection.
• Aid in developing, piloting, and rollout of new workflows, SOPs, and technology.
• Manage patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, check-in/out, and confirmations.
• Lead staff huddles to communicate priorities, assignments, and expectations.
• Monitor compliance, workflow, and inventory; elevate issues to the Practice Manager.
• Mentor new hires, support training, and complete 90-day assessments.
• Review schedules and external booking channels to ensure timely confirmations.
• Maintain HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA compliance and complete required training.
