Job summary

Red Tail Residential, LLC is seeking a Multi-Site Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across multiple apartment communities in Countryside, Hinsdale, and Clarendon, IL. This full-time role involves HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs to ensure safe, comfortable living spaces.

You will work with a team including Property Managers and Regional Managers, with a schedule that may include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years as a maintenance technician; multifamily housing experience preferred.
• Skills: Basic proficiency in two or more trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting).
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certifications: EPA Universal and CPO certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems (HVAC, ventilation).
• Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
• Service appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers).
• Complete light carpentry, drywall, and hardware repairs.
• Install and maintain flooring, cabinets, and countertops.
• Prepare units for occupancy and assist with seasonal maintenance.
• Inspect and clean common mechanical and storage areas.

About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Site Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance for multi-family housing communities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs. You’ll ensure safety standards are met while delivering exceptional service to residents and team members.
