Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager within CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) to lead multi-site material handling and maintenance operations, prioritizing safety across facilities for one of the world’s largest online retailers.

You’ll plan, schedule, and oversee a team, drive continuous improvement, review performance, and collaborate with management on goals while ensuring compliance with safety standards and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• 4+ years leading and coaching employees in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of preventive/predictive maintenance experience.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with financial terms, forecasting and budgeting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints and interpret schematics.
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies and maintenance systems.
• Ability to travel off-site as needed.
• Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safety-first culture across CBRE employees.
• Plan, schedule, and advise work of employees; evaluate quality.
• Lead coordination of maintenance for high-speed conveyance systems and equipment.
• Assist managers with hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Develop work standards and procedures; drive continuous improvement.
• Manage staffing level plans and labor utilization including overtime.
• Foster positive relationships with clients and operations teams.
