Job summary

The position requires a Bachelor’s in a relevant field, 5+ years in injury prevention, OSHA 30-Hour, and CHSP within six months. Expect variable hours and participation in an EH&S on-call rotation across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, or allied field.
• 5+ years of experience in injury prevention, occupational health, healthcare safety, or related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification.
• Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) required within six months of hire.
• Experience supporting injury prevention programs including use of relevant equipment.
• Experience conducting rounding, observations, or workplace safety assessments.
• Ability to support multiple sites and adapt to changing operational needs.
• Willingness to work variable hours and participate in on‑call rotation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with frontline staff.

Responsibilities

• Injury Prevention Program Support across systemwide initiatives including ergonomics and exposure reduction.
• Cross-Program & Multi-Site Support to ensure consistency and identify gaps.
• Program Implementation & Rollouts for new programs and equipment conversions.
• Rounding, Observations & Hazard Identification to spot risks and drive corrective actions.
• Training & Staff Support delivering practical, task-based training.
• Incident Support & Trend Tracking to review injury data and coordinate prevention actions.
• Regulatory & Compliance Support including Cal/OSHA related programs and investigations.
• Other duties as assigned across EH&S and Injury Prevention.
