The role requires a solid foundation in industrial engineering, lean principles, and project management, with CAD and data-analysis skills to drive cost reductions and performance gains across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a supply chain related field.
• 1-3 years of industrial engineering experience; multi-site ownership is a plus.
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred.
• Strong knowledge of process mapping, time/motion studies, VSM, and SPC.
• Experience leading and implementing process improvements.
• Excellent project management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across levels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CAD experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Slotting optimization: develop and maintain end-to-end strategies for distribution centers.
• Analyze metrics: customer requirements, order profiles, SKU velocity, weight, dimensions, pick paths.
• Lead process improvements using lean, Six Sigma; run kaizen events.
• Manage multiple projects from initiation to completion within time and budget.
• Develop standardized work instructions and best practices across sites.
• Contribute to facility layout design to improve material flow.
• Collect and interpret operational data; track KPIs with PDCA-based reporting.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities through process optimization and waste elimination.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (distribution, quality, supply chain, engineering).
• Provide training and coaching on industrial engineering principles and lean techniques.
