Job summary

Georgia Power in the Atlanta metro area is seeking a Building Services Technician – HVAC/Mechanical Specialist to maintain and repair HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across multiple facilities. You will travel between sites to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on equipment including building automation systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in HVAC and mechanical maintenance.
• Experience with electrical and plumbing systems.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification and/or related licenses desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve HVAC/mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain and repair building systems including gates, ice machines, BAS/BMS, and plumbing.
• Read technical drawings and manuals and follow safety guidelines.
• Travel between GA Power facilities to service equipment and ensure compliance.
