Job summary

Vireo Health is seeking a Facilities Technician to oversee the Massey Facility's maintenance and upkeep, with travel to MD locations to assist facilities needs.

You will conduct routine inspections, perform basic repairs, coordinate with vendors, and help implement preventive maintenance plans and budgets while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. This role reports to the General Manager and offers competitive union benefits.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field.
• Proven maintenance experience with basic power tools.
• Ability to read blueprints or repair manuals as needed.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Perform basic repairs and maintenance of facilities systems (pipes, pumps, lights, HVAC).
• Coordinate with vendors for equipment repairs.
• Develop and follow preventive maintenance plans.
• Manage facility waste service provider and tickets in system.
• Maintain inventories of spare parts and tools.
• Assist GM with repair estimates and facility budgets.
• Support capital projects and coordinate subcontractor repairs.
