Job summary

NHHA is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead facilities operations across California, including Sacramento and Heber. This part-time role (20–30 hours) could grow to full-time with organizational expansion, requiring oversight of large-scale construction, expansions, and new-site development across multiple locations.

The role involves coordinating with city, county, and state agencies, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring life-safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in facilities/construction management.
• 5+ years of progressive facilities/construction project management experience.
• Experience with licensing, permitting, and life-safety compliance in California.
• Willingness to travel to Sacramento and Heber, CA including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-site facility operations for NHHA locations in California and manage site readiness.
• Oversee construction, expansions, renovations, and tenant improvements from planning to occupancy.
• Coordinate licensing, permitting, and inspections with city, county, and state agencies.
• Develop and monitor KPIs/OKRs for facilities operations and report progress to senior management.
• Manage relationships with architects, contractors, vendors, and government officials to ensure compliance and on-schedule delivery.
