Job summary

Behr Paint Company is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead compliance programs across multiple facilities and drive continuous improvement. You will partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen environmental performance and ensure adherence to federal, state, local, and international regulations.

The role requires a strong background in regulatory conformity, permits, reporting, and audits, with the ability to mentor Operations and site leadership while advancing sustainability

Qualifications

• Completed high school or GED; bachelor's preferred in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• Expert knowledge of federal, state, local, and international environmental regulations and their application in manufacturing operations.
• Experience managing permits, regulatory reporting, inspections, and interactions with EPA, DTSC, CalEPA, AQMD, CUPA.
• Ability to mentor Operations, Engineering, Legal, and site leadership teams with practical guidance.
